Since you work in my industry, how do I know you won’t share my information?
We sign a legally binding Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) guaranteeing our confidentiality.
Service Performance has served the corporate support departments and facility service suppliers for more than 23 years, a testament to our confidentiality.
I don’t know what consulting I need. How would I find out?
That’s easy; the first step is to talk. We’ll ask about your business issues, goals and your current situation.
If we can help, we’ll take the next step. We’ll ask to review your materials, and depending on the project they may include:
- Service specifications & Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Business review reports, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & their documents and/or slideshows
- Several of your best proposals as Microsoft Word files (not interested in your pricing)
- Several of your best presentations, if you use them
- Brochures, direct mail pieces, sales sheets, & ads
After this review we’ll develop our proposal at no cost to you. We’ll define our deliverables, schedule and fees. At that point you decide the next step.
How do we work together if your not local?
We work with clients from Boston to Florida, Los Angeles to Seattle, and Chicago to Houston.
We use web presentations, teleconferencing, email, file transfers and sending hard copies via courier. We avoid thousands of dollars in travel expenses and, as importantly, use your time judiciously.
When we do travel to your office, you pick the hotel and flights.

How do you charge for services?
Typically consulting projects are charged as a flat fee. The fee is based on the project’s type and scope.
Alternatively, we charge on an hourly basis. We provide an estimated range with our proposal. Outside expenses, such as travel, images, audio and materials are billed additionally.
How do I get an estimate?
That’s easy; the first step is to talk. We’ll ask about your business issues, goals and your current situation.
If we can help, we’ll sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA), either ours or yours. We’ll then ask to review your materials. Depending on your needs, materials may include:
- One of your best proposals (not interested in your pricing)
- Your best presentation, if you use them
- Brochures, direct mail pieces, sales sheets, & ads
- Sales, marketing, or business plans, if you have them
After this review we’ll develop our proposal at no cost to you. We’ll define our deliverables, schedule and fees. At that point you decide the next step.
Will an estimate cost me anything?
All estimates are at no cost to you.
Infrequently there are times when the consulting project is to define a project. In those cases, we’ll request an hourly fee to define the project, and give you an estimate for the number of hours we think it’ll take.
How long does a project take to complete?
Anywhere between two weeks and six months depending on the project, as they vary widely by type and scope. Contact us and together we’ll begin to work out a project scope and schedule.
