About
Sometimes a little insight really helps.
I’m Chris Arlen, President and founder of Service Performance.
Revenue-IQ provides monthly in-depth articles and weekly blog posts. I write it to help facility service customers and contractors get the most value from their relationships.
For customers and procurement, that means productive bid processes, measuring service performance and service communications to end-users.
For contractors, that means raising revenue by securing more work through persuasive proposals and presentations.
A continual student (and I’ve got the student loans to prove it), I’m writing from more than 20 years experience in selling, marketing and managing facility services.
Before starting the Service Performance consultancy in 1996, my experience was gained through past positions as:
- VP of Sales & Marketing for ABM Security Services
- Regional Director of ABM Janitorial Services in the Northwest
- VP for a regional janitorial firm serving Los Angeles & Orange Counties
- Material Logistics Manager for Soccer to the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee (1984)
My educational background includes:
- Masters Degree in Management, Antioch University Seattle (1995)
- Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts, California State University of Sacramento (1980)
I’ve been a speaker at:
- CEO Seminar for BSCAI (Building Service Contractors Association International)
- Various clients internal seminars on topics from service branding to account retention
Look forward to hearing your thoughts online and off.
Best of Luck,
